An Inordinate Fondness #5 has just been posted at the Marvelous in Nature. With her usual creative flair, Seabrooke introduces us to us ten different species in eight different families with colors ranging from iridescent green tamarisk weevils and false blister beetles, to black and red milkweed leaf beetles and ladybird beetles, to strikingly patterned longhorned beetles, to brown yet anything but boring rain beetles. It’s a wonderful line up, and I hope you’ll visit each of the submissions (and remember to tip the waiter!).
AIF#6 will be hosted next month by Insect Art. You can submit your posts directly or use the handy blog carnival submission form. Either way, make sure you get your posts in by July 15! As always, we are looking for volunteers to host future editions of AIF – if you’re interested, check the upcoming issues list in the sidebar to see what months are available and send me an email indicating the month of your choice.
